This is a 2019 Polaris Slingshot. It’s a three wheeler or some call it a “trike.” This thing looks like something straight out of a star wars movie. I don’t know too much about star wars, but a couple of people called it an X-Wing fighter. It’s a matte white finish and I was told its a rare and discontinued color. When driving this in the streets you get a ton of stares from everyone, you kind of feel like a celebrity. The reality of having this toy is not just for pleasure but it’s also a business opportunity. My plan is to rent this sucker out and make some money or at minimum pay for itself. All the torque goes to the one wheel in the back and it loves to slide. I’m sure I’ll get some videos to show how easy it is to make this thing slide around. Just turn on the stability and traction control on and it calms down a bit. 5 speed manual transmission make you want to let loose though. This thing is a ton of fun!
I used to have a Honda CBR600RR Graffiti edition about 10 years ago and it was so much fun. A couple of rides were scary I’m not going to lie, that’s because I was young and crazy. That invincible feeling when you’re young is definitely something that will be missed for sure. The Slingshot is my replacement for that. It’s not as crazy as a motorcycle (crotch rocket) but you definitely still get your adrenaline rush, in a much safer way.
